The Effort to Recompose my Complexity
The idea behind The Effort to Recompose my Complexity is the paradoxical attempt to trace a map of one's own interiority.
In the act of closing one's eyes to look within, one immediately realizes that a unified vision of one's own mind is impossible: it is a complex system, and at any given moment it is only possible to focus attention on one particular aspect of it.
These different partial views of one's own inner dimension must be related to one another by tracing lines, in the vain attempt to recompose the ideal unity of one's own inner complexity: memories, desires, drives, fears, social mediations, ambitions, the interaction between the various levels of the brain, the representation of one's own body and of the environment one lives in.
From a visual point of view, the goal is to induce in people the sensation of entering into a complex relational system, such as the human mind.
