Per Fare un Tavolo. Arte e territorio (To Make a Table. Per fare un tavolo is an integral part of the A Cielo Aperto project supported by the Associazione Culturale Vincenzo De Luca, which has for many years pursued research on artistic practices in relation to the specificities of its own territory, involving artists in residence for the creation of a series of permanent outdoor installations and workshop activities in Latronico.

GAP Guilmi Art Project
Per fare un tavolo involved the participation of figures active in various disciplinary fields who examined themes such as: art and territory, outcomes, political mediation, rurality, conscious localism, common good, artistic practices and economic development.
The contributions of urban planners, architects, artists, art historians, sociologists, anthropologists, economists and geographers were channeled into a public art intervention that saw the posting of 34 posters in the historic center of Latronico, along with the publication of a book by Postmedia Books.

The contributions in the publication offer an in-depth look at themes concerning inner areas and the development of artistic practices tied to the territory, aiming to define the "public" role of art, artists and communities.
Beyond theoretical reflection and analysis, the book brings together some of the best Italian artistic experiences that, over years of work, have managed to combine "beauty" and "politics".
